Liberty Tree Classroom Project




Classroom Membership sponsored by the "Liberty Tree" Society, brings the story of the "Liberty Tree" to our young students. This engaging narrative, "Whatever Happened to America’s Liberty Tree?", skillfully weaves fact-filled history with a measure of plausible speculation. Line drawings (suitable for coloring) highlight Project includes a 3 ft. Liberty Elm and bronze plaque to be installed on school grounds upon completion of the course. In addition to study of historical aspects of the "Liberty Tree", students will get hands-on experience by planting and caring for an American Liberty Elm. Teacher’s guide is included with grade appropriate exercises in vocabulary, comprehension and recall, imaginative experience recreation, guest speakers, role playing - with costumes and geography.
